About Us
We are coffee lovers who have a personal desire to offer good coffee from its region of origin. Even coming from Eritrea, we attach great importance to good coffee. Having grown up with the smell of freshly roasted beans in our noses as children, we carry this wonderful vice with us to this day.
In Eritrea and Ethiopia, coffee preparation plays a large part in everyday life. Fresh coffee is roasted, ground and boiled here every day. As a result, people experience the enjoyment of genuine taste every day.
So this is our attempt to bring you as close to that experience as possible.
Our concept
Just as every coffee is different, so are the preferences of those who enjoy it. That's why we decided to prepare the coffee on site. This allows us to respond to individual requests
So whether packaging, fresh roasting or grinding: everything is possible with us. Whether dark or mild roast, whether for the French press or the espresso maker, whether green or roasted coffee: there are many variations available to you. We generally roast the coffee mildly, which means we may already suit your taste. We recommend medium roasting for the types of coffee we offer, as the East African bean has been tried and tested this way for a long time. If you have a request that you cannot find in the default settings, please note it in the 'Request' box during the ordering process. Of course, you can also write us an email at any time.
We roast the coffee gently at temperatures of 180 to 220°C, slowly between 11 and 17 minutes and in small quantities of up to 300 grams.
Our packaging for roasted coffee is black stand-up pouches that are made to a certain extent from sugar cane instead of petroleum. The 'I'm Green' line we use does not use aluminum at all.
We use 100% recyclable and transparent stand-up bags for our green coffee.
However, when it comes to packaging, we will constantly make adjustments to always use the most environmentally friendly materials without having to compromise on taste and aroma.
So take the time to sit back and enjoy.
We are here for you:
